Fort Atkinson Community Theatre donates new lighting fixtures to FAHS
Fort Atkinson Community Theatre has made a donation of twenty-four new lighting fixtures with a value of $7,745.48 to the Fort Atkinson High School Auditorium. For years, community members and students alike have struggled to work in the space, wrestling with inoperable equipment.
"We are all very excited to be able to help the school district and the community with this donation. It fills what has been identified as a very strong need in the auditorium by all of the lighting designers that have worked in the space," says FACT President, Nick Dingman. "Fort Atkinson has been very good to us in supporting our productions, and we're happy to find additional ways to help give back to the community. The board is very excited to be able to help enhance all of the wonderful programming that takes place on the busy auditorium stage."
FACT is an organization devoted to charitable, literary, and educational purposes, specifically focused upon encouraging the performance and appreciation of the theater arts. FACT hopes that with this donation, technicians can feel confident bringing their art to our community.
